Geronimo in a Locomobile - Apache Medicine Man Geronimo (driving), and Ponca Indian Charles LeClair (right) pose in an automobile at the Miller Brothers 101 Ranch. The photograph is an oil-colored print by the Oklahoma Portrait and Enlarging Company, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 1899–1928. After surrendering to the federal government Geronimo became a celebrity, appearing at Wild West shows and the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis. He died a prisoner of war at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, in 1909.
